Longmeadow native and acclaimed actress Bridget Moynahan has been awarded the 2025 John F. Kennedy National Award by the St. Patrick’s Committee of Holyoke. Known for her roles in Blue Bloods and Sex and the City, Moynahan was recognized for her acting career, advocacy for underprivileged communities, and strong Irish heritage.

A dedicated philanthropist, she supports The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp for children with chronic illnesses and serves as a Global Citizens ambassador, working to end poverty.

“Growing up in an Irish family has shaped my values of resilience, family, and community,” Moynahan shared, expressing gratitude for the honor.

She will be celebrated during Holyoke’s St. Patrick’s Parade weekend, with a special JFK Awards Dinner and a featured role in the parade.
